I am a clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults build emotional regulation and self-management skills. I integrate mindfulness and movement into therapy, with a strong focus on supporting both individuals and caregivers.
My approach is client-centered and flexible, drawing from a wide range of evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, EFT, trauma-focused care, mindfulness techniques, and more. I specialize in working with middle schoolers through adults, addressing concerns like ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, postpartum issues, trauma, and family stressors, with an emphasis on culturally responsive care.
I also provide clinical supervision and previously served as Dean of Students and Senior Social Worker at The Katherine Thomas School. I’m the creator of the 3R Instant Mindful Practice with Movements—an approach that helps people regulate emotions through simple, mindful actions.
I hold advanced degrees from Simmons University, Howard University, Johns Hopkins University, and UMBC, and I’m certified in mindfulness practices (RYT-200). My passion is promoting wellness in schools, therapy offices, workplaces, and homes.
