Do you find yourself overthinking? Are you a people pleaser who feels their needs are unimportant? Maybe you are having a hard time processing a traumatic event. This can be exhausting and may be impacting your current relationships, job functioning, or daily mood. I understand that sometimes it can be difficult to trust and be vulnerable with others. My goal in our work together is that you can be yourself, while feeling supported and cared for.
Our work together will explore beliefs systems, thinking patterns, and process memories. I will help you gain skills to live a less anxious life, set boundaries, build healthy relationships, and love yourself. We will work towards understanding who you are by exploring strengths and growing confidence!
I have worked in various settings, including a women’s shelter, college counseling center, and community mental health. I use an eclectic approach to psychotherapy that includes training in EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and trauma informed CBT.
