Welcome to my profile! Beginning a relationship with a therapist is a big step, and I am glad to help you through this process.
For the last 20 years, I have worked with military members, their families, specialized defense customers, high performance teams, and law enforcement.
My skills include helping others thrive following trauma, skill acquisition and enhancement for professionals looking to take their performance to the next level, or just helping individuals deal with the everyday life stressors.
Educational Background
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi (2001)
M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Mississippi (1999)
B.A in Psychology from the University of Mississippi (1996)
My background includes working specifically in situations of hostage or captivity survival, mental preparation for high-risk situations, and developing resilience.
Also, I have worked extensively with executive leaders and teams. I enjoy assisting those that want to advance potential and performance to meet specific goals.
My approach to therapy employs cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and unconditional empathy.
